Kyle Hamblett (Sr., Paris, France / American School of Paris) helped lead Macalester past St. John’s 90-81 Wednesday (Jan. 5) in Collegeville as the Scots snapped a 52-game MIAC losing skid. Hamblett went 5-for-10 from the floor and finished with 13 points, five assists and four rebounds. Hamblett kept the Scots in the game until the closing minutes in a defeat Saturday (Jan. 8) to Hamline by scoring 20 points on a 7-for-11 shooting effort. He was 3-for-5 from beyond the three-point arc.
