Wade Ekstrom (Sr., La Crescent, Minn.) ran to a national provisional qualifying mark to wrap up his collegiate running career Thursday (May 20) at the Wisconsin-La Crosse NCAA Qualifier. Ekstrom’s time of 3:52.83 is the second-best mark by a Macalester run, topped only by his 3:50.98 school record set at last year’s La Crosse meet. His mark was just short of getting him into the national meet.
