Emily Matthews (Sr., Fort Collins, Colo. / Rocky Mountain) led the way for Macalester at the season’s first outdoor meet, the Hamline Invitational. Matthews ran a personal-best time of 60.15 to place third out of 18 entrants and second among Division III competitors. She was also eighth out of 41 entrants in the 200-meter dash with a clocking of 26.47.
