Ann Baltzer (Sr., Bismarck, N.D.) averaged 17.3 points and 6.3 rebounds to lead Macalester to a 3-0 week and into a first place tie in the MIAC standings. She also registered her 1,000th career point in Saturday’s win over Augsburg. Baltzer shot 65% from the floor, making 22-of-34 shots in double-digit victories over Gustavus, Concordia and the Auggies. She went a perfect 8-for-8 from the field in an 18-point over the Cobbers and netted a season-high 22 points while grabbing eight boards in a 34-point win against Augsburg.
