Carson Gorecki (Sr., Mahtomedi, Minn.) netted a goal in each half to lead Macalester past Grinnell 2-0 in a first-round NCAA Division III playoff match Saturday (Nov. 14) in Dubuque, Ia., as the Scots won their seventh in a row. Gorecki scored his sixth goal of the campaign 41st minute and added his seventh in the 72nd minute to stretch the lead to two. A three-time All-MIAC forward, Gorecki finishes his career as the No. 7 all-time scoring leader with 27 goals.
