On Wednesday, January 27th and Saturday, January 30th, Macalester's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is holding the annual Hoops for Hunger event. SAAC is looking for donations of canned goods or money to contribute to the Second Harvest Heartland Food Shelf. There will be a table set up as fans enter Alumni Gymnasium. Come watch the men take on Bethel on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and St. Thomas on Saturday at 3 p.m.

To promote the event, SAAC will be duct taping either A.D. Kim Chandler or Assistant A.D. Ron Osterman to the wall for the second half of Saturday's game. Both will have separate donation boxes and whoever raises the most money and food will be taped to the wall at halftime.
