Complete Twin Cities Classic results | Macalester two-round recap

Daniel Kerwin (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo. / Yokahama International) finished the three-day Twin Cities Classic in 13th place out of 114 golfers to lead the way for Macalester Saturday through Monday at three different courses.

Playing his three best rounds of the season on three par-72 venues, Kerwin shot a 75 at Elk River Country Club, another 75 at The Links at Northfork in Ramsey, and finished his standout tourney with a 72 at White Bear Yacht Club in Dellwood. His 72 Monday moved him up from 22nd to 13th place.

Macalester finished in 15th place out of 23 teams, getting team rounds of 310, 314 and 310 for a 934. Illinois Wesleyan (870) edged Gustavus (874) for the team trophy.

Ryan Peters (Jr., Kohler, Wis.) placed 55th on rounds of 76-78-79. Nick Santrach (So., Coon Rapids, Minn.) had a 75th-place 238 (79-78-81).

The Scots close out the fall season at the three-day MIAC Championships Saturday-Monday (Oct. 4-6) at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids.
