Twin Cities Classic two-round results
After the second of three days at the Twin Cities Classic, the Scots stand in 14th place out of 23 teams, while top player
Daniel Kerwin (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo. / Yokohama International) is in 22nd place individually out of 116 golfers.
Kerwin turned in his two best scorecards this season, posting rounds of 75 Saturday at Elk River Country Club and 75 again Sunday at The Links at Northfork in Ramsey. His 150 helps give the Scots a two-day total of 624 on consistent team scores of 310 and 314. Kerwin was averaging an 83.5 this fall going into the tournament – fourth best on the team – and is moving up fast. He was eighth out of 157 players last weekend at the St. Olaf Invitational with a 36-hole 157.
Illinois Wesleyan (579) is leading St. John's (581) for the team leadership. Central (Ia.) (589) is in third.
Ryan Peters (Jr., Kohler, Wis.) is also in the top half of this tournament. Peters is in 50th place with a 154 on consistent rounds of 76 and 78.
Nick Santrach (So., Coon Rapids, Minn.) has turned in scores of 79 and 78 for a 67th-place 157.
The third and final round is Monday at White Bear Yacht Club in Dellwood.
