Directions to Macalester
Macalester College is located at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Snelling Avenue in St. Paul.
By Plane, Bus and Train
If you are arriving in town by plane, bus or train, we recommend that you come to campus by taxi. We are approximately 15 minutes from all terminals. The fare should be $10-15.
By Car
From Interstate 94 , exit on Snelling Avenue and go south on Snelling Avenue to Grand Avenue. Turn right (west) on Grand Avenue and go one block. Turn left (south) on Macalester Street and follow signs to visitor parking.
From the north on Interstate 35 , take 35E into St. Paul. Exit to Interstate 94 westbound, and follow the directions above.
From the south on Interstate 35 , take I-35E into St. Paul. Exit at Ayd Mill Road (exit #104B). At second light, take a left onto Grand Avenue (westbound). One block after crossing Snelling Avenue, turn left (south) onto Macalester Street. Follow signs to visitor parking.
From the Airport , follow the signs for St. Paul/Highway 5. After you cross the river, exit right onto Edgcumbe Road (keep left as you exit) and follow for 1 mile; stay to the left and take Fairview Avenue. Follow Fairview Avenue for 2 miles. Turn right (east) on Grand Avenue and go three blocks to Macalester Street. Turn right (south) and follow signs to visitor parking.

Baseball- The baseball field is located on the South side of campus, near the intersection of St. Clair Avenue and Campus Drive. #7 on the
campus map.
- Basketball -Plays at Alumni Gym in the Leonard Center, #11 on the campus map.
- Cross Country- Competes on the track, which is on the perimeter of the stadium field, #8 on the campus map.
- Football- Play at the Stadium field on the new FieldTurf, #8 on the campus map.
- Golf- See golf schedule for course locations.
- Soccer- Play at the Stadium field on the new FieldTurf, #8 on the campus map.
- Softball- The softball field is located on the South side of campus, near the intersection of St. Clair Avenue and Campus Drive. #7 on the campus map.
- Tennis- Matches are at the Macalester tennis courts, #7 on the campus map.
- Track & Field- At the Macalester Stadium, on the outdoor track. #8 on campus map.
- Water Polo-Plays at the Leonard Center, #11 on the campus map.

Sports MedicineClick here for the Macalester Sports Medicine web siteSports InformationThe Macalester Sports Information Director will post main event statistics on the Automated Scorebook system (StatCrew) and game files will be sent right after the games to the visiting SIDs as well as to the MIAC office. Sports information directors of visiting teams should contact Macalester SID Matt McLagan ( mmclagan@macalester.edu ) to request the faxing and e-mailing of results to their local media.
Macalester runs StatCrew and will send packed game files as soon as possible in the sports of soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, softball and baseball. In the sport of tennis, packed files will usually be sent the following day. Track meet and swimming & diving results will be entered on Hy-tek and an html file of the meet results will be sent to SIDs from participating schools.
Macalester will call in scores and provide recaps in football and basketball to the Star Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press and the AP.
Most of our home events will be video and audio streamed through the internet
Event recaps with links to statistics / results will be posted on the Macalester team pages as soon as possible following home events.
