ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester women's cross country team returned to the University of Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational to compete in the Suzy Wilson Women's Maroon DIII race. Despite the soggy course, the Scots ran to a fifth place finish out of 14 teams.

Ramsey had an impressive race as well finishing in 25:11.5 for 16th place. Senior Maya Weigel from Pomona-Pitzer was the individual champion finishing in 23:11.9.
Taking places 38-40 for the Scots was the next pack. In third for the scoring runners was
Lorna Sherwood Caballero (New York, NY / LaGuardia H.S. of Arts) crossing the line in 26:11.5. Rounding out the scoring pack were
Lea Davidson (Walla Walla, Wash. / Walla Walla) and
