MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --
Kimber Meyer was the overall champion of the 2015 Division III women's race at the Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota Saturday morning. Meyer's first place finish helped the Scots to a 4th place team finish out of 17 teams.

Meyer ran the course at Les Bolstad Golf Course in 22:57.8. Last season, Meyer timed in at 23:16.2, shaving over 19 seconds off of her time. Mary Keenan from Wellesley was the second place finisher, running 23:24.8 and helping her team to a first place finish.

St. Olaf College and the University of St. Thomas posted second and third place team finishes.
Senior
Sarah Jonathan and junior
Eliza Ramsey came in second and third, respectively for the Scots today. Jonathan, who finished 21st overall, ran the course in 24.47.3 and Ramsey (finishing 25th overall) in 25:02.2.
Elena Torry-Schrag (25:32.4) and
Megan Davitt (25:39.2) rounded out the top five for the Scots today.
Macalester will return to action on Oct. 10 as they compete in the St. Kate's Invitational.
