ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men's track and field team competed in Hamline University's Meet of the Unsaintly Saturday.
Logan Hovie and
Konnor Fleming were both field event winners in the Scots final meet before the MIAC Championships, which will be held at Macalester on May 8 and 9.
Meet Highlights: Jole Miller ran to a seventh place finish in the 400-meter dash. Miller posted a season-best time of 51.18.
In the 1500-meter run,
Joe Giamberdino took fifth place, running 4:01.10.
The Macalester 400-hurdle duo of
Tayeb Zaidi and
Brian Eisner finished in sixth and seventh place, respectively in the event. Zaidi came in at 59.38 and Eisner followed at 59.70.
Logan Hovie won the high jump today, jumping 1.98-meters.
Tre Nowaczynski finished sixth in the long jump, finishing at 6.16-meters.
Konnor Fleming and
Bolton Howes were at it again in the javelin throw. Fleming came out on top today, throwing a season-best, 53.67-meters. Howes finished in second with a throw of 51.74-meters.
