On January 8th, 23 members of the Macalester Track & Field teams, led by co-head coaches Betsy Emerson and Matt Haugen, and assistant coach Todd Wojchick volunteered at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan, Minn.  During the one-hour meal packet assembly period, the Mac tracksters helped fill 82 boxes with meal packets that will be shipped to the Philippines. The total number of meals in those boxes is over 17,700, which are enough to feed 49 children for an entire year.

Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children has been an annual tradition for the Macalester team for almost 10 years.
