Macalester claimed victories in three of four matches held in Hilton Head, South Carolina, over Spring Break and returns north with a 5-5 record on the season.

The Scots toppled Bloomsburg (Pa.) 9-0, Wooster (Ohio) 5-3 and Nebraska Wesleyan 8-1 before closing out the trip with a 7-2 setback to Allegheny (Pa.).

A pair of Scots went 4-0 on the week.  Stephen Tyndel (Sr., Toronto, Ontario / City Academy) was a perfect 4-0 at No. 3 singles and Max Soghikian (Jr., Piedmont, Calif.) was also unbeaten with a 4-0 mark at No. 4 singles.  Tyndel and Soghikian also paired up to go 2-2 at second doubles.

Going 3-1 in singles competition were Brian Utz (Fy., Rochester, Minn. / Lourdes) at No. 1, Max Edwards (Sr., Rochester, Minn. / Mayo) at No. 2 and Kai Peterson (Sr., St. Paul, Minn. / Central) at No. 5.

Over the course of the team's four matches, the Scots went 19-5 in singles matches and 6-6 in doubles play.

Macalester returns to action April 6 with an MIAC match at Bethel.
