Kate Ryan Reiling
Kate Ryan Reiling '00 (soccer)
Captain of Macalester's 1998 NCAA Division III national championship squad, Kate Ryan Reiling helped lead the Scots to a 76-9-3 overall record during her four years while winning three MIAC championships with perfect 10-0.  Ryan Reiling, a three-time All-America midfielder, was conference Player of the Year as a senior and Final Four Offensive Player of the Tournament as a junior.  She is ranked No. 7 on the program's all-time goal scoring list with 30.  Ryan Reiling was head coach of the Macalester's women's team in 2010.

David Fenn
David Fenn '77 (soccer / track & field)
David Fenn held the school triple jump record for two decades, and gained All-MIAC status his final two years in the mile relay and triple jump for Hall of Fame coach Doug Bolstorff.  In soccer, Fenn was Mac's top goal-producer for four seasons, netting 12 scores as a junior, and was picked to the all-conference squad in 1975 and 1976.

Al Andreotti
Allan Andreotti '60 (football / baseball)
A four-year letter-winner in both football and baseball, Allan Andreotti was a standout in these two sports for the Scots.  His running back skills helped the Scots post a 6-1-1 football record and MIAC runner-up finish in '57. Although he played on the gridiron and in the cage at Mac, it was in the sport of basketball where he achieved coaching greatness.  Andreotti was a head boys' basketball coach in Minnesota for 33 years, including 26 at St. Cloud Tech, and is a member of the Richfield High School, Tech High School and Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association halls of fame.  His teams accumulated 521 victories while winning 70% of their games.

Nichols
Brian Nichols '60 (track & field / football)
Brian Nichols established a conference record in the shot put and was a four-time MIAC champion in this event while setting conference records each time.  He was also runner-up in the shot put at the Aberdeen Relays and Howard Wood  Relays.  A top javelin thrower as well, Nichols was a conference champ and two-time conference runner-up.  On the football field, Nichols was a four-year letter-winner on the offensive line and a second-team All-MIAC guard.

Men's Track & Field Team – 1959
Macalester began a remarkable string of 11 straight Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic (MIAC) men's track and field championships with its 1959 title as the Scots claimed first-place finishes in five events.  Starting in the Thirties, Macalester established  a great track tradition and the '59 squad under coach Gil Wilson was among the best ever.  Three members of the team are in the M Club Hall of Fame.

Team lettermen who scored points for the Scots at the MIAC meet were: Alfred Page (captain), Brian Nichols (captain), LeRoy Martin, Warren Kelly, Duane Samuelson, Ron Bole, Richard Hume, Steve Skjold, James Toliver, Robert Kamish, William Rovick, Allen Anderson, Orv Fenstad.
