MIAC release

Macalester's Evan Elderbrock (Sr., Madison, Wis. / West) and Max Edwards (Jr.,Rochester, Minn. / Mayo) have earned All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) status after helping lead the Scots into the conference playoffs.

The all-conference team is based on a formula, combining wins in regular-season matches and where they occurred in the singles and doubles lineup.

Elderbrock and Edwards played key roles in helping Macalester  to a 4-5 MIAC record and 9-11 overall mark during the recently-completed season.  Elderbrock registered a 5-4 conference record at No. 2 singles and was 10-10 overall on the 2011-12 campaign.  Edwards posted the team's second-best  singles record overall at 13-5 and in MIAC matches went 6-3 at No. 4.  Edwards was also 7-2 in MIAC doubles play.

Edwards was also selected as Macalester's representative on the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team.
