Complete Wisconsin-La Crosse NCAA Qualifier Meet results

A handful of Scots competed in a “Last Chance” meet Thursday at the Wisconsin-La Crosse NCAA Qualifier and had strong performances despite the windy conditions.  This meet featured most of the top athletes from the Upper Midwest who have yet to automatically qualify (although many have already) for the national championships.

Among Mac's top performances was a fourth-place finish in the triple jump by Kate Rochat (Jr., Portland, Ore. / Cleveland) (11.48m / 37-8).   That mark moves her up to No. 7 on the school's all-time honor roll. Lucy Andrews (So., Plymouth, Minn. / Wayzata) also turned in a fourth-place finish in the 3K steeplechase (12:28.89).

Irene Gibson (Fy., Carmel, Ind.) clocked a 2:17.68 in the 800-meter run and Daiga Kravale (So., Latvia / UWC of the Adriatic) ran a 61.10 in the 400 meters.  Stephanie Goei (Fy., Shoreline, Wash. / Shorewood) tossed the hammer 43.67m / 143-3.  Gibson's mark puts her at No. 7 on Mac's all-time honor roll.
