Concordia held the Scots to just a single run on the day to sweep Macalester 4-0 and 3-1 (in extra innings) in Moorhead.  Macalester drops to 17-16 overall and 7-7 in the MIAC.

Macalester was held to just three hits in the opener and Concordia received a pair of home runs from Michael Olson.

In the second game, starter Chase Kahn (So., Cooper City, Fla. / American Heritage Plantation) held Concordia to just a run and two hits through 5 2/3 innings of good pitching to give Macalester a chance to gain a split, but the Scots could manage just a single run.  The Cobbers won in the bottom of the eighth on a two-out homer.

Mac plated its run in the  top of the third when Ross Bronfenbrenner (So., San Anselmo, Calif. / Marin Academy) doubled in Graham Brown (Sr., Annandale, Minn.).   Brown had singled before stealing his 15th base of the season.

Concordia improves to 16-14 on the year, 7-7 in the MIAC.

The Scots look to get back to their winning ways when they host St. Mary's for a pair of MIAC games Tuesday (April 24) on Senior Day at 2:30 p.m.
