Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational complete results

Macalester traveled to Jekyll Island, Georgia, for a Spring Break training trip over over the weekend golfed against many of the top Division III teams and players at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational at Indian Mounds Golf Course.

The Scots gained valuable experience in a loaded field that included 6 of the top 15 ranked NCAA Division III teams in the country in Golfstat's head-to-head rankings.  Methodist (N.C.) won the three day event by 15 strokes over second place Coastal Georgia.

Maddie Arbisi (So., Stillwater, Minn.) and Grace Caird (Jr., Shorewood, Wis.) each posted 54-hole totals of 275 to lead the way for Macalester.  Arbisi played rounds of 96-86-93 and Arbisi turned in scores of 97-90-88. 

Right behind Arbisi and Caird was Kyla Martin (Fy., Madison, Conn. / Daniel Hand) with a 277 scorecoard (98-82-97).
