Baseball and psychology go together better than you might think. So says
Nathan Rubin '12 (Venice, Fla.), a psychology major and an outfielder for Mac's baseball team. “Baseball is such a mental game,” he explains. “When you're hitting, you can fail 7 out of 10 times and still be batting .300, which is a good average. Maintaining an even keel is imperative.”
Rubin is profiled on the Macalester College website, talking about how confidence has an effect on performance.
