Macalester vs. University of Charleston box score

Macalester took on the University of Charleston (S.C.) for its final Spring Break match in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and came up just a little short in a 5-4 setback.  The Scots won three of their five matches this week in Hilton Head.

The Scots were victorious in two of the three doubles matches.  Evan Elderbrock (Sr., Madison, Wis. / West) and Lewis Wilcox (Sr., Minneapolis, Minn. / Southwest) won 8-4 at No. 1 doubles, while Max Edwards (Jr., Rochester, Minn. / Mayo) and Max Soghikian (So., Piedmont, Calif.) won 9-8 at No. 3.

Mac singles winners were Stephen Tyndel (Jr., Toronto, Ont. / City Academy) at No. 3 and Soghikian at No. 5.

The Scots return to St. Paul and will resume competition March 24 with an MIAC match at Concordia-Moorhead.
