Macalester vs. Wooster box score

Macalester won for the third time in four Spring Break matches at Hilton Head, South Carolina, rolling over Wooster (Ohio) 9-0.  Even through the score was 9-0, nearly every match was hotly-contested.  The Scots improve to 4-6 on the season. 

Singles winners for the Scots were Chris Fowler (Sr., Toronto, Ont. / Royal St. Georges) at No. 1, Evan Elderbrock (Sr., Madison, Wis. / West) at No. 2, Stephen Tyndel (Jr., Toronto, Ont. / City Academy) at No. 3, Max Edwards (Jr., Rochester, Minn. / Mayo) at No. 5, Lewis Wilcox (Sr., Minneapolis, Minn. / Southwest) at No. 5 and Max Soghikian (So., Piedmont, Calif.) at No. 6.

Elderbock and Wilcox won 8-3 at first doubles, Fowler and Tyndel won 8-3 at second doubles, and Edwards and Soghikian won 9-7 at third doubles.

Mac plays one more Hilton Head match – tomorrow against the University of Charleston (S.C.)  – before returning to St. Paul.
