Macalester vs. Denison box score

Macalester took on North Coast Athletic Conference champ Denison (Ohio) and came out on the short end of an 8-1 tally to the Big Red at Hilton Head.  The Scots drop to 3-6 on the season, while Denison moves forward to 4-0.

The lone win for Macalester was produced by Max Edwards (Jr., Rochester, Minn. / Mayo), who collected a 6-1, 3-6, 10-5 three-set win at No. 4 singles.   Edwards is now 5-3 on the season in singles play.

The Scots have two more Spring Break matches at Hilton Head before returning home.  Macalester plays tomorrow against Wooster (Ohio) and Friday against the University of Charleston (S.C.).
