The Scots started their Spring Break trip with a 7-3 victory over Coe (Ia.), handing head coach Matt Parrington his 200th win at Macalester.  Parrington, in his 13th season with the Scots, is the first baseball coach at Mac to achieve the 200-win milestone.

Coe came back to gain the split by taking the nightcap 7-1.

Coe went 32-12 last year and finished ranked 27th in the final ABCA national poll.
