Macalester College Director of Athletics Kim Chandler has begun her term as president of the National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators (NADIIIAA).  Chandler began her duties last Saturday (Jan. 14) at a NADIIIAA meeting during the annual NCAA Convention in Indianapolis.

Chandler is in her fourth year as Director of Athletics at Macalester and her 24th year in intercollegiate athletics.  Prior to arriving at Macalester, Chandler served as the Director of Athletics at Beloit College.  Chandler came to Beloit following a three year stint at Saginaw Valley State University, where she was the Assistant Athletic Director for Business Affairs, the Senior Woman Administrator, and head women's basketball coach.

As a result of the culmination of her work, she received the prestigious National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA) Administrator of the Year award for Division III in October, 2009.
