Brittany Feser has been named as the Leonard Center Manager at Macalester.  Feser will begin her duties at Macalester Jan. 9.

Feser currently works at Inver Hills Community College in Inver Grove Heights, Minn., as Student Life Coordinator and Assistant Director of Recreational Sports.  She is a 2006 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, and received a Master's degree in Sports Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2008.

A familiar face to those around the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Feser served as MIAC Assistant Director on an NCAA internship grant from August 2008 through June 2010.  She served in several conference leadership and administrative capacities with the MIAC.

Feser has worked as a Special Events Intern for U.S.A. Boxing, where she helped manage two championship tournaments in the summer of 2008.  She was also a graduate assistant in event management at UW-La Crosse.

“I am very excited to be back in the MIAC - especially at Macalester where I had the opportunity to get to know several administrators and coaches during my time as Assistant Director in the conference,” said Feser.  “I am thrilled to be the Leonard Center Manager not only to work with the great staff, but also because I could not be more excited about my duties.  This position is definitely something I was looking for getting back into DIII collegiate athletics.”
