Macalester College place-kicker Auburn Jimenez (Fy., East Los Angeles, Calif. / St. John Bosco) has been named to the D3football.com All-America team as an honorable mention selection.

Jimenez was named a couple weeks ago to the All-West Region team and caps off his standout freshman campaign with this honor. He is the second Scot to make the All-America squad since D3football.com began awarding All-America honors in 1999, joining defensive end Andrew Porter (2002).

The 103-member All-America squad was named by the staff of D3football.com, a national website that covers NCAA Division III football.

Jimenez was 9-for-14 on field goal tries (with three of his misses being on blocked kicks) and 37-for-39 on point-after kicks. Jimenez beat Crown College midway through the season with a last-second 43-yard field goal and on the season was 4-for-5 from beyond 40 yards. His nine field goals and 37 PAT's are both school records.
