Complete Wisconsin-Stout Warren Bowlus Invitational results

Emily Matthews (Sr., Fort Collins, Colo. / Rocky Mountain) placed second in the 55-meter dash finals and added another runner-up finish in the 200-meter dash to lead the way for Macalester at the season-opening Wisconsin-Stout Warren Bowlus Invitational.  She was second in the 55 dash with a 7.45 clocking and was second out of 43 entrants in the 200 with a mark of 27.02.

Participating teams, in addition to the Scots and UW-Stout, were Augsburg, UW-Eau Claire, UW-Superior, UW-La Crosse, Northwestern-Roseville, Minnesota-Duluth and St. Mary's.

Maddie Mette (Sr., Burnsville, Minn.) accounted for Mac's next best finish when she placed fifth in the long jump (15-5 / 4.70m).  Alexa Simpson (Fy., St. Elizabeth, Jamaica / Hampton School) placed 14th out of 43 entrants in the 200 dash (28.27).

The Scots have their second indoor meet of the season Saturday (Feb. 6) at the Bethel Open in Arden Hills.
