Macalester track & field throws coach Bryan Tolcser is currently ranked No. 27 in the U.S. in the indoor hammer throw with a mark of 215-10 (65.79 meters).

Tolcser competed at the U.S. national outdoor championships last summer and in addition to tossing the hammer this winter, is also competing in the 35-pound weight throw. He was eighth in the 2009 national indoor meet in the 35-pound weight throw.

Tolcser holds a Level 2 USA Track and Field coaching certification. He graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, with a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Studies. At St. Lawrence, he was a four time national qualifier in the weight and hammer throws and earned All-America honors in the weight.
