Complete Division III Midwest Classic results

Macalester went up against some strong competition the Midwest over the weekend (Sept. 19-20) at the Division III Midwest Classic at The Jewell in Lake City.

The Scots placed 18th with a 769 team scores on rounds of 388 and 381 and were led by Grace Caird (Fy., Shorewood, Wis.) and Ellen Bubak (Sr,. Sioux Falls, S.D. / Lincoln). Caird and Bubak tied for 52nd place in this 101-player field with 36-round totals of 180. Caird shot rounds of 92 and 88 and Bubak finished with marks of 91 and 89.

Gustavus cruised to the team title with a 628 score over Wartburg, St. Benedict and St. Olaf.

Next up for Macalester is the Oct. 3-5 MIAC championships at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids.
