Nick Santrach (Jr., Coon Rapids, Minn.) shot a 36-hole total of 154 to place 22nd overall and lead the Scots over the weekend at the Augsburg Invitational at Majestic Oaks Golf Course in Ham Lake. Macalester placed 11th out of 14 teams.

Santrach turned in scorecards of 75 and 79 to finish 22nd out of 76 players.

Daniel Kerwin (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo. / Yokohama International) posted scores of 78 and 80 for a 37th-place 158. Dan Allen (So., Orland Park, Ill. / Carl Sandberg) finished with a 162 (85-77), as did teammate Ryan Peters (Sr., Kohler, Wis.) (83-79). Ben Langworthy (Jr., Tucson, Ariz. / Tucson Magnet School) tallied a 163 (83-80).

Wisconsin-Stout edged Luther and Wisconsin-Eau Claire for the team title. James Stafford of St. Thomas was the individual medalist with a 144.

Macalester plays next Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 19-20) at the St. John's Invitational. Saturday's round will be at Greystone in Sauk Centre and they will golf Sunday at Blackberry Ridge in Sartell.
