Macalester out-shot Wisconsin-Platteville 30-5 but had to take it out the hard way, tying the match in the 79th minute and pulling it out with the game-winning goal 30 seconds into overtime, to escape with a 2-1 overtime road victory in Platteville.

Kat Lenhart(Fy., Fairview, N.C. / A.C. Reynolds) headed in the game-tying goal at 78:10 off an assist from Maddie Mette (Sr., Burnsville, Minn.) on a corner kick for her first collegiate score.

Emily Bardwell(Jr., Denver, Colo. / East) dribbled in from 50 yards out and beat the UWP goalkeeper at 90:30 for her team-leading third score of the season.

Macalester remains unbeaten and improves to 3-0-1 on the year. Platteville is now 2-2-1.

The Scots continue their weekend road trip when they travel to Dubuque, Iowa, tomorrow to face Loras.

The Scots travel to Moorhead on Wednesday (Sept. 16) to open MIAC play against nationally-ranked Concordia.
