Macalester's
Amanda Cagan (Saratoga, Calif. / Monta Vista) has been selected as a Jewish Sports All-American by the
Jewish Sports Review. Cagan earns Division II / III first-team softball honors after a very productive junior campaign for the Scots.
Cagan, who split time between center field and the catching positions, batted .351 in 38 games and had 10 multi-hit games. She went 36-for-113 from the plate with 24 runs scored and a club-leading nine doubles. Cagan was also second on the team in batting, slugging, hits and on-base average.
