Complete Hamline Invitational results
Macalester accounted for three top-six finishes in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles Saturday at the Hamline Invitational, a meet featuring competitors from Mac, Hamline, St. Catherine, Carleton, St. John's, Concordia-Moorhead, Concordia-St. Paul, Augsburg at UW-Superior. Several events were also dominated by unattached athletes.
Alex Rosselli (Jr., Columbus, Ind. / North) led Mac's hurdles with a second-place finish (56.72).
Franz Meyer (Sr., Kirkwood, Mo.) placed fourth (58.09) and
Palmer Fliss (So., Medway, Mass.) was sixth (59.13).
The Scots also displayed depth in the 1500-meter run and 400 dash. In the 1500,
Wade Ekstrom (Jr., La Crescent, Minn.) placed fourth (4:00.27) and was first among collegiate runners, and teammate
Ollie St. John (Fy., Washington, D.C. / Edmund Burke School) finished 10th (4:13.76).
Martin Stenman-Andersson (Jr., Uppsala, Sweden / IT-Gymnasiet Uppsala) (51.06) and
Andrew Yokom (Sr., Arden Hills, Minn. / Mounds View) (51.27) were eighth and 10th, respectively, in the 400-meter dash.
Stenman-Andersson placed fifth in the long jump (20-3 ½ / 6.18m) and
Kyle Hamblett (So., Paris, France / American School of Paris) was fifth in the 200-meter dash (23.11).
The Scots compete Friday (April 10) at the Gustavus Adolphus Lee Krough Invitational in St. Peter.
