The Scots hosted the Bolstorff Twilight Meet and placed ninth out of 18 teams, and Wade Ekstrom (Jr., La Crescent, Minn.) won the 1500-meter run, charging past a University of Minnesota runner just before the finish to win with a 3:56.03 time. The meet was dominated by the Minnesota Gophers, while Bethel Hamline and St. Thomas for the runner-up spot.

Near the start of the meet, the college honored the 1959 MIAC championship squad, which is on campus this week for a 50th year celebration.

Martin Mudry (Sr., University Heights, Ohio / University School) finished in the runner-up spot in the 5000 meter-run (15:39.16).

Kevin Williams (Sr., Kingston, Jamaica) was third out of 62 entrants in the 100-meter dash (11.04). He was also 10th in the 200 dash (22.62). Martin Stenman-Andersson (Jr., Uppsala, Sweden / IT-Gymnasiet Uppsala) placed sixth in the long jump (20-11 ¼ / 6.38m).

The Scots are off until next Saturday (May 2) when they compete at Hamline's Meet of the UnSaintly.
