Macalester vs. St. Mary's box score

Macalester gained its third 9-0 victory in a row, sweeping St. Mary's at Lakeville's Lifetime Fitness Club to pick up its first conference triumph of the season. The Scots are now over .500 at 5-4 overall and are 1-2 in the MIAC.

The team's six singles win came in straight sets as Macalester received wins from Charlie Edelman (Sr., Tucson, Ariz. / University) at No. 1; Michael Coleman (So., Westlake Village, Calif. / Agoura) at No. 2; Chris Fowler (Fy., Toronto, Ont. / Royal St. Georges) at No. 3; Titus Levy (Jr., New York, N.Y. / The Fieldston School) at No 4; Ali Bandeali (Fy., Karachi, Pakistan / Karachi Grammar School) at No. 5; and Evan Elderbrock (Fy., Madison, Wis. / West) at No. 6.

In doubles play, Edelman and Coleman won at No 1; Fowler and Bandeali at No. 2; and Levy and Elderbrock at No. 3. The team of Levy and Elderbrock is now 4-1 on the season.

The Scots return to Lakeville tomorrow night to take on Concordia-Moorhead.
