Macalester vs. St. Michael's box score

Macalester closed out its undefeated Spring Break trip to Hilton Head Island by toppling St. Michael's (Vt.) 6-2. The Scots went 5-0 at Hilton Head and are now 6-4 on the season as they return to Minnesota to resume MIAC play next week.

Angie Horner (Jr., Bismarck, N.D. / Century) won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 1 singles; Stephanie Lee (Jr., Camarillo, Calif. / Oaks Christian) won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2; Amanda Wenzel (Jr., Green Bay, Wis. / Southwest) won 6-1, 0-6, 11-9 at No. 3; and Becky Schneider (Sr., Larchmont, N.Y. / Mamaroneck) won 8-5 at No. 6.

Gaining doubles wins for the Scots were the No. 1 team of Lee and Horner (8-3), and the No. 3 tandem of Wenzel and Schneider (8-5).

The Scots play an MIAC match next Wednesday (March 25) in Lakeville against St. Mary's.
