Box Score Macalester vs. Centenary box score

The Scots battled back from a 4-0 deficit to make a game of it with a three-run sixth, but Centenary (N.J.) held on for a 5-3 win over Macalester at the Gene Cusic Classic in Ft. Myers, Florida. Macalester is 5-7 on the campaign and 3-5 o its Spring Break trip.

Macalester had three of its six hits in the top of the sixth inning. Ali Nystrom (Jr., Minnetonka, Minn.) started the frame with a single and scored on a Crystal Barriga (Jr., Broomfield, Colo. / Legacy) single. Alison Phillips (Jr., Vernon Hills, Ill. / Adlai E. Stevenson) doubled later in the inning to drive in Barriga and Chloe Souza (Fy., Los Angeles, Calif. / Windward).

Centenary improve to 5-3 on the year.
