St. Thomas enters the 2009 MIAC Baseball Season as the league favorite based on the Preseason Coaches' poll. The Tommies edged St. Olaf, Gustavus, and Hamline for the top spot. Each of those four teams played in last season's conference playoffs. The top four teams in the regular season standings will qualify for the 2009 MIAC Baseball Playoffs to be played May 8-10 in Dundas and Northfield, Minn.
