Macalester vs. St. Lawrence box score

After starting the season with four straight setbacks, the Scots have evened their record at 4-4 with their fourth win in a row, taking down St. Lawrence (N.Y.) 7-2 at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Macalester won everything but sixth singles and second doubles.

Singles matches were reduced to playing one set to eight and Macalester winners were Angie Horner (Jr., Bismarck, N.D. / Century) at No. 1; Stephanie Lee (Jr., Camarillo, Calif. / Oaks Christian) at No. 2; Amanda Wenzel (Jr., Green Bay, Wis. / Southwest) at No. 3; Kelli Crescenti (Fy., Los Angeles, Calif. / Hart) at No. 4; and Abby Citrin (So., Rye Brook, N.Y. / Blind Brook) at No. 5.

Horner and Lee cruised to an 8-0 win at first doubles, while Wenzel and Schneider won at third doubles.

The Scots play tomorrow against Greenville (Ill.).
