The three-month long journey to crown the 2009 MIAC women's tennis champion has begun. As always, some of the most talented teams and individuals in all of Division III will take to the courts to challenge for the title of MIAC champion. Gustavus enters the campaign as the coach's pick to capture the title after winning the last 17 MIAC regular season crowns. Carleton, St. Thomas, and Macalester should all challenge Gustavus for the top spot with talented and deep squads.
