Complete Pre-MIAC Meeting results

Macalester hosted the Pre-MIAC Meeting Friday night at Leonard Center for its final tune-up for next weekend's conference championships. The Scots competed with Carleton, Bethel, Hamline, Gustavus and Concordia-Moorhead in this non-scored event.

The Scots were led by Maddie Mette (Jr., Burnsville, Minn.) and Tara McCoy (So., Menomonie, Wis.). Mette placed third out of 13 competitors in the long jump (16-3 ¼ / 4.96m) and fourth in the 55-meter dash finals (7.81). McCoy ran to the third-fastest time in the highly-competitive 600-meter run (1:43.28).

Mari Mejia (So., Golden Valley, Minn. / St. Louis Park) made the 55-meter dash finals and placed eighth (8.04).

The Scots are at the MIAC indoor championships Friday and Saturday (March 6-7) at Concordia College in Moorhead.
