CSCAA Division III Academic award-winning teams

For the 39th consecutive semester, the Macalester men's and women's swimming & diving teams have earned All-Academic team honors by the College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). In order to be named on the SPEEDO All-Academic list, teams must have had a combined team grade point average of 3.0 or better during the fall 2008 term.

The Macalester men's team finished fourth in the Division III ranks with a 3.40 GPA during the '08 Fall semester. Macalester's women's team combined to post a 3.38 GPA – 13th best nationally among Division III teams.

In all, 68 women's teams and 41 men's teams in Division III earned team Academic All- American honors.
The CSCAA produces the Academic All-American list twice each year. The spring list will also recognize indivdual Academic All-Americans who are selected on the basis of their performance in the pool and the classroom.
