Complete UW-Stout Warren Bowlus Open results

Macalester's indoor track and field season got underway against some very formidable competition at the Wisconsin-Stout Warren Bowlus Invitational in Menomonie, Wis. Most of the top teams from the WIAC participated in this non-scored event, which also included Minnesota-Duluth, St. Mary's and Northwestern.

Wade Ekstrom (Jr., La Crescent, Minn.) ran to a third-place finish out of 41 entrants in the 1-mile run, crossing the finish line in 4:22.09, to account for the team's best individual performance.

Alex Rosselli (Jr., Columbus, Ind. / North) made the 55-meter high hurdle finals and placed eighth (8.38). Macalester had two finalists in the 55-meter dash, where Andrew Yokom (Sr., Arden Hills, Minn. / Mounds View) was fifth (6.63) and Kevin Williams (Sr., Kingston, Jamaica) was eighth (6.78). The Scots were third in the 4x400-meter relay (3:32.78).

Macalester competes next Saturday (Feb. 7) at the Bethel Open.
