Complete St. John's Invitational results

Ryan Peters (Jr., Kohler, Wis.) played a season-best round of 75 Sunday to place eighth out of 114 golfers at the St. John's Invitational at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course in Sartell. Saturday's round, scheduled for Greystone in Sauk Centre, was rained out.

Peters and Ben Langworthy (So., Tucson, Ariz. / Tucson Magnet School) helped the Scots place 13th out of 19 teams with a team tally of 326. Langworthy, who placed fifth a week ago at the Augsburg Invitational, shot a nice 77 to finish in 19th place.

Matt Arck (Sr., Manhattan, Kan.) and Nick Santrach (So., Coon Rapids, Minn.) tied for 93rd place with marks of 87.

Host St. John's edged Bethel for top team honors. The medalist was Alex Wieme of SJU with a 69.

The Scots play next Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 20-21) at the St. Olaf Invitational at The Summit in Cannon Falls.
