MIAC championship web site with complete results and Saturday's heat sheets

The first of two days of the MIAC track and field championships has been completed and competition will continue Saturday at nearby Hamline University.

Tara McCoy (Fy., Menomonie, Wis.) qualified for Saturday's finals with a 2:21.66 clocking in her preliminary 800-meter run heat and Raven Parsons (Sr., Jamaica, N.Y. / Phillips Exeter) placed eighth in the hammer throw (127-4 / 38.81m). Parson's eighth-place performance came on her second throw of the first round.

The MIAC championships continue Saturday at Hamline at 4 p.m.
