Macalester vs. Oberlin statistics
Six Macalester players reached double figures in scoring – all with between 10 and 13 points – as the Scots rolled to an 85-43 win over Oberlin (Ohio) Sunday afternoon at the Leonard Center. The Scots led 46-18 at halftime and on the day owned a 28-8 turnover advantage.
Mac improves to 2-1, while Oberlin drops to 0-2.
Trina PaStarr (Jr., Minneapolis, Minn. / Southwest) led all scorers with 13 points.
Majra Mucic (So., Zenica, Bosnia / St. Louis Park (Minn.)) enjoyed a strong game off the bench, finishing with 12 points on a 5-for-7 shooting performances, eight rebounds and four steals.
Holly Schiedermayer (FY. Waupaca, Wis.) and
Ann Baltzer (Jr., Bismarck, N.D.) also netted 12 points apiece, while Schiedermayer contributed seven boards and a couple blocked shots.
Alyssa Lunde (Jr., Rochester, Minn. / Mayo) tallied 11 points and
Jessica Rene (Fy., Eau Claire, Wis. / Memorial) added 10.
Danielle Johnson (Jr., DeForest, Wis. / Edgewood) dished out six assists, and
Maggie Wood (Fy., Madison, Wis. / Edgewood) joined Mucic with four steals.
Kira Rivera paced the Yeowomen with nine points, while Syrea Thomas added eight.
The Scots have a break from competition before starting MIAC play Dec. 3 at home against St. Mary's.
