Bob Pearson begins his 20th season as Macalester head coach when the Scots dive into the 2008-09 winter season Friday night (Oct. 29) with a dual meet at Wisconsin-River Falls. The meet starts at 6 p.m. and will be held at River Falls High School.

After practicing and competing off campus all last season and part of the season before that, the Scots are back on campus at the new Leonard Center and will train and host meets in the beautiful and fast 10-lane Riley Pool. Macalester will host invitational meets Nov. 22 as well as Jan. 30-31, and will host dual meets with St. Mary's, St. Olaf and St. Thomas.

The first competition in the new Riley Pool will be an MIAC dual meet Nov. 21 with St. Mary's.
