Macalester plays a Friday afternoon (Oct. 31) game at the Metrodome in Minneapolis at 12:30 p.m. with Minnesota-Morris as the Scots play at the nearby dome for the first time since '02. Even though Macalester is an independent in football, this will be part of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Dome Day event.
Macalester and UM-Morris have played twice before, but have not met on the field for 35 years. UMM won 20-0 in 1972 and won 14-7 in 1973. The Scots enter the game with a 3-5 record on the season, while the UMM Cougars come in with a 2-4 mark.
Tickets for the Dome Day event are $10 for adults, $7 for students (with ID) and $5 for children (ages 5-11). Children under five are admitted free. Fans should enter through Gate B only.
