Macalester sophomore
Alyssa Lunde (Rochester, Minn. / Mayo) has been selected
MIAC Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 9-15. She is the second straight Scot to earn these honors, following the selection of teammate
Ann Baltzer (So., Bismarck, N.D.) last week.
Lunde finished with a game-high 21 points and grabbed six rebounds in a 60-57 overtime defeat at Wisconsin-River Falls in a non-conference game. A transfer from Cornell (Ia.), Lunde went 8-for-15 from the field and 5-for-8 from the free throw line. Lunde is averaging 11.0 points and 6.0 boards per game this season.
The Scots are 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the MIAC, and are off until Jan. 5 when they return to action at Concordia-Moorhead.
